So who does that leave? I always thought that A-Rod and Griffey were clean. I've even debated people before on what kind of numbers a talent like A-Rod would put up if he was on something. I guess now we know. -
He's never been able to grasp the mental part of the game nor has he been any kind of leader, so this isn't surprising. His raw, natural ability is probably unrivaled. He couldn't take a pill to make him play smarter or with more passion, so he enhanced himself in the physical department.
The New York media will fry him on a daily basis, but he doesn't care.
BTW, the majority of steroid users in baseball are pitchers. They use to recover faster to stay in the rotation. There were several Reds players here who were juiced, mostly pitchers.
As a baseball fan, this should upset me, but it doesn't. It's kind of funny to me to see a jerk get caught.

OK - I'm no fan of the Yankees but, I think they should sue him to get some mone back.
Because of the roides the information they had about him going into negotiations with him was false.
I don't know what his numbers where like the past few years, but if he didn't use the roids and his numbers went down I think they may have case.
I know many Yankees fans have to be mad about this and I can't blame them.
All this being said I just need to add - "Go Sox"Comment

This is from 2003 from when there were no "actions" that could be taken by MLB. So theoretically it could have been a one time thing and not done again. I'm not a big A-Rod fan, but with random testing now in place, I would assume in six years something could have turned up again. It's all good!Comment

It just never stops. Baseball created these monsters and now its all coming out in the open. This is for wanting the homerun ball and paying these guys all that crazy money.
I'm a Yankee fan and I totally dislike A-Rod. He's not a team player never was never will be IMO. I saw him staying in NY as an opportunity for him to break the Homerun record one day and make the Hall of Fame as a Yankee so he'll have commercial value long after his baseball career is over.
He was part of that Seattle team with all those great players and wound up with no rings. He went to a horrible Texas team were he just put up big numbers for big pay.
Then he came here and the Yankees have been clueless in the playoffs and last year failed to make it. Not that I'm putting the Blame all on him but he's clueless at the Plate during Playoff time and not in any shape a form some one to fear in the crunch in a big game.
Now I have to hear him cry all season long!!! Bull**** **** A-ROD!!!!!......Comment

As somebody who has studied baseball stats since I was a kid, I've doubted just about everyone's numbers from over the past 15 years. I always hope that Griffey, Frank Thomas, and a few others did it legit, but I have my doubts about everybody.Comment

Baseball, for me, ended when they went on strike in 1994. Up to that point, I loved everything about it. For some reason, everything about it seems to reek, now. Believe me, I've tried, but it just isn't the same.
I still love Baseball, but not MLB.Comment
