    Baseball Pennant Experts?

I know there are a couple here.

I found this today, cannot find anything on it. What you think? It cannot be any older than 1966 because thats when they moved to Atlanta:

I checked eBay, nothing like it. I just checked the one on Gasoline Alley, it is a miniature, only 8" long, but it does look like it, color scheme that is.

I have seen it before. I usually run across it when I am looking for old Washington Redskins memorabilia (The Redskins were originally the Boston Braves...the same as the baseball team who moved to Atlanta).

Definitely late '60's from looking at it (a lot of the pennant makers used similar colors and styles).

I would iron out the end and the tassels by placing a towel over it and applying heat through the towel (I have had a lot of success with this). The tassels can probably be ironed with low heat and no towel without worry of damage.

My best guess is it is a $50-$60 pennant. Pennants are one part of the sports market that has never really taken off but maybe someday it will. I have been collecting Redskins pennants for well over a decade and there are times when I see one that I have never ever seen before (there was one recently that was listed as 1930's although I would guess more 1940's or 1950's since I have a pennant similar to it but not quite).

It ended at $350 or so which is a huge sum for a pennant and like I said...this particular one was the only one I have seen in 10 years plus there is a huge demand for Redskins memorabilia.

I have seen this one quite a bit...there is also a Boston Braves pennant that looks exactly the same but is blue with the white logo. Again $40-$50 would be what I think it would sell for but I would start it at $9.99 and let it run its course.
