An apology goes a long way in my book. Good for him.

      That was decent of him.
It would have been cooler had he done it in his Batman outfit, and the DP in a Joker costume (Why so serious, Christian?), but the right thing to do....

Nice! He's almost like some kind of human being or something.

Anybody that can take responsibility for their actions, and can stand up like a man to make a sincere apology gets points in my book. I can respect that.

Bale said that at no point was he going to attack the DP. He said, "Are you kidding? He is much bigger than me...that guy is a huge ex-football player! He is not Orphan Annie."

Bale essentially re-iterated many of the explanations/defenses some of us have put forward on his behalf. "I would ask anyone listening out there: 'Have you ever had a bad day? Did you ever lose control and deeply regret it later?" (or words to that effect.) The guy's only human, after all. Maybe we can move on now.

Good for him. Like I said al along, there was more to it than Bale just going nuts, anyone can have a bad day, he's only human. Even tho he is the ****ing Batman

That apology just shows the kind of character the guy really has. I never really lost any respect for him when I heard that verbal assualt, but I have even more respect for him now that he came forward publicly and just took ownership of the situation. I hope the media will repay that respect by letting the whole matter go.

I wonder if we'll see the same behaviour in T4?

"What? You didn't see that Terminator, soldier?"
                              "Sorry, Mr. Connor sir!"
"Sorry? You think that's going to cut it?!"
                              "Really sorry."
"I'm going to come over there and kick your butt! You're not taking this 'save the world' stuff seriously enough!"
"I did save the world yesterday, sir."
"Are you making fun of me, soldier?"
                              "No, sir."
