You know, beyond the fact that your car was stolen is the fact that you were violated in ways you might not feel yet.

How safe are you going to feel parking ANY car in any parking lot anymore?
When you get your car back, will she feel the same? She, herself was violated.

I had my car broken in, in my parking spot, in front of my house when I lived in Miami, and had my airbags stolen. She never quite felt the same after that, like she was now damaged goods. I also developed a "light sleeper" mentality where any little noise outside caused me to run to a window in the middle of the night and check my car.

There isn't much worse than a freakin thief. I hate liars, and thieves. I am sorry about your ride.

Sorry to hear the news and as was already posted, I understand the feeling of being violated that creates anger beyond just having your car stolen.

My only incident was years ago, someone ransacked any unlocked car in our neighborhood stealing anything of value.

Someone had the nerve to walk all the way up my driveway and go through my car. Luckily, I didn't have anything they wanted but everything had been pulled out of my glove compartment and stuff was all over the place. I seriously thought that maybe my kids had entered the car looking for something after I got home from work and made a huge mess but I had never seen a mess like this. After talking to a few neighbors, they noticed the same thing.

                                My thoughts exactly! A flatbed!

Sorry to hear that. A while back my friend had a 2 month old car that get stolen for a joy ride. They smashed the crap out of it -- just for "fun".
