Sorry to hear about the stones John.

When my back went out the last couple of times my Doctor just became "the Candy Man" and gave me this stuff that made me stupid.

I think I lasted two days on them, I'd rather lie around in pain than be a total vegetable.

I still smoke, but i've been totally alcohol free for 4 or 5 months now.

You should've done the complete opposite, quit the smoke...and keep drinking.

I have a friend that got hooked bad on that stuff.At his worst I remeber him chowing up to 10 a day.He was messed up pretty bad.Just watch yourself.Your bodies tolerance really adjusts pretty quick.He had compressd vertabra after a bad fall at work.

Not at this time the bad one is stuck 3/4 of the way down in the tube between the kidney and the blader.

I know a couple of woman who have had stones and kids they both said the stones where worse.

Fighting kidny stones for a month now - very anoying.

On a serious note. Those things are highly addictive. I have seen all kinds of junkies in the music biz who have Pez dispensers with oxies in their leather jackets.


Use them for what the doctor tells you and quickly dispose of them.
