Hungry Hungry Hippos or Mr. Mouth?

I would have to go with Mr. Mouth. Hippos was a little to frantic for me. I liked the anticapation of Mr. Mouth coming around and taking your time.

Hippos is still around, and has stood the test of time more than Mr. Mouth. We keep meaning to get it for our son, but he always wants something else more.

I didn't own either (wasn't much of a game guy as a kid) but I remember playing both at friends' houses. Mr. Mouth had a kind of creepy Muppet vibe.

Hippos. My cousin use to have Mr.Mouth and I remember all of the problems we had trying to put that stupid thing together. Besides,Hippos managed to be part of a Robot Chicken skit. So that ranks it a little higher in my book.

My daughter loves Hungry Hungry Hippos. Its the righ game for a 5 yr old, (And a 41 yr old too)

We have a game similar to MR Mouth, and she gets frustrated with it, because it takes a degree of motor skills to hit the target with the flipper.

I always wanted Hungry Hungry Hippos, but my mom would never buy it. The newer ones are slightly smaller and much noiser!

That brings back a memory or two. Ever watch the Bozo show int he 70's? They used to hawk that game like crazy. I can remember Bozo and some other clown (pardon the pun) playing the game

I remember in 2nd grade a girl in class brought Hungry, Hungry, Hippos to school for indoor recess and the teacher BANNED IT because it was so loud when 4 people played it.
