On the show "Brink", I saw a new keyboard that could be washed in the dishwasher without damage. This just seems stupid though.
How about one that's totally flat and smooth. Do they make those? Surely technology has advanced that far.
Mine is nasty. It's really neat with tons of features I never use. But, all those extra buttons do a great job of catching food, dust, ash, unknown?? and dirt.

They do make laser keyboards for a thousand dollars a pop. You lay down two light discs and it creates a laser beam light grid virtual keyboard on your plain wood desk. Your fingers touching each virtual square key actually works. I don't know if these things have been released to the public but I have seen them in computer magazines when they first designed them. Amazing.
