That's EXACTLY what I said - Holy Smokes! They fought completely the opposite of what I expected. Good for Shane.

Margarito was never in this. This was the Bizarro world version of Manny vs. Oscar. I hope there's a lot of people smiling because they put money on Shane.

I wouldn't necessarily call Margarito a chump...he's got great heart and determination...and he would take most welterweights...he's just not in Mosley's league, that's all.

It's only the second time I've seen Margarito fight, but to me he looks very slow and easy to hit.

Yes, he's slow and easy to hit.

The thing is that he was able to absorb punches relatively easy against his previous opponents...and he would walk fighters down.

But today, Margarito fought the fastest welterweight he ever faced...who happened to also have a solid chin (he's only been down once in his entire career).

The reason I took Margarito is because Mosley is 37...and he lost against Cotto...who in turn was badly beaten by Margarito.

I'm not sure if you heard what I heard, but what I heard from HBO was something a little more serious than illegal pads. They definitely said something was removed from Margarito's wrap that was wet and was in the process of hardening. If that is indeed true then then a crime has been committed, that wasn't done to protect the hand, or give you better padding in the spot where your best punch lands, no that was something that was done to deliberately injure and maim your opponent, it makes a total mockery of not having an unfair advantage over your opponent. If Margarito knowingly participated in this then I would have no hesitation into telling him find another job because your career as a prizefighter is over. Life. Same goes for the corner men.

So when they find a fighter has illegal substance on there hands, but correct it and let him fight, what happens afterward. Some kind of sanction or fine?

They might not pursue it as fanatically since Mosley destroyed Margarito.
