20 or 30 years ago, perhaps, since he's nearly 80. I'm not tied to Samuel L. either (unless the role calls for someone saying MuthaF'er alot) since he's 60 years old, but I have no problems with a modern take on him. Let's just agree to keep the 'Hoff out of the mix.
