    McGoohan died Tuesday in Los Angeles after a short illness, his son-in-law, film producer Cleve Landsberg, said.

    Loved him as the Prisoner...and I loved him as Longshanks in Braveheart.

      I'll always remember him as the baddie on many classic Columbo's.

      I thought he died long ago.

        Agggghhhh! That's a damned shame, one of my favourites of all time.

        I got to be part of his birthday celebration a few years back, gave his Grand daughter a figure and she gave it to him. He claimed it was his favourite present.

                        RIP indeed. I thought at one point he was going to try and helm a revamp of The Prisoner with himself as a guest star. I don't know if that was rumor or not.

                            he came up with the concept of the prisoner and there is a new one coming I hope that a guest shot of him was filmed for it ( I was hoping he would again be number 1)
