Well the snow started here last evening,they were threating 10" and we lucked out.There was only about 3 when I did the driveway this morning but it came back hard this afternoon.Right now theres about 7 or 8 " now.I know there are places that get hit alot harder ,but truthfully this kinda blows.It sucks to drive it ,shovel it,and its along way till spring!

we are getting snow here . it started a couple hours ago looks like a couple inches , must be the storrm you have, we are getting in rhode island -
They said we're suppose to get 6 - 8 inches by Sunday morning ... but all we have now is about 2" and it looks like it stopped.Comment

Our snow is a 3 1/2 hour drive away...that's why I love the Bay Area...I'll have snow when I want to...not against my will.

snow is one hour away from me in the LA area. my son and i went last weekend. it was fantastic!!! ski lift up a big mountain and we were in deep!Comment

We had abnormally huge amounts of snow in December, but the good old Chinook Winds hit last friday, and its melting away fast

Warm front moved farther north than expected and the 8 to 10 we were supposed to get turned to rain after 4 or 5. Got about 2 or 3 left but the rain is still falling pretty good. Got about 45 minutes until daylight hits right now so I'll bet if it holds up I'll only have to shovel the pile made by the plows doing my street. Most everything else will be washed away by 8 or 9 am. Good thing, the snow blower is in the shop getting a tune up and won't be done until after this weekend. Don't get the snowfall we used to and have had years where it didn't even get started cuz it wasn't worth pulling out of the shed. I think it just wanted some attention.It's not a doll it's an action figure.Comment

We got about 8-10 inches this weekend. This is really the first major storm this winter, so we've been pretty lucky.Comment

We ended up with about 12"-15" for the weekend.
It was probably more, but by the time I got out today to start shoveling it, it had started to melt a little and compact some.Comment
