Thanks for the heads up, but......

Those are truly hideous!!!!

The only thing of those I may consider would be the helmet. Some one, some where, about five years ago, decided to change the LSU logo to what you see on the other three decals. It is called the Tuncee (sp?) logo, I guess its the artist's name. It was (and still is) one of the most hated things by the fans that LSU did. There was no vote by the fans, students, etc, LSU just decided to change it.

Besides a couple recent books in my (under construction) LSU library, you will only find that logo on one item in my collection, and that is because my daughter (who was 3 at the time) picked it out and told my wife she wanted to get it for me. It is a LSU Rubic's Cube.

The logo on the side of the helmet was the old logo (still used on the helmets). There was also a logo used until the mid to late 60's with Mike the Tiger wearing a beanie hat. That also is a pretty cool logo.

The chair would be awesome if it didn't have the logo on it. I am actually in the market for a chair and ottoman. I want a brown, soft leather chair/ottoman that looks and feels like leather of an old football, soft and a little fuzzy. I found one, but it is $1500!!!

Just grab a real player and try and staple him to the wall like the guy in the commercial does with Reggie Bush or Spidey

Here is a follow up on the logo. I was wanting a nice logo for my new website and I am not very artistic when it comes to computer graphics. I made this:

Well, if you want something nice made, there is only one person to go to, TheToyRoom. I told him what I wanted, sent him a few images of the old logos, etc. He did a great job, but didn't know the the new LSU logo is hated among fans. Like I said, he did a great job, but sent me this:

I e-mailed him back and told him the story and to see if he could put something different in the middle. Meanwhile, I go ahead and post the new header until I get a new one. That was a big misake. Within a few minutes, I get slammed for posting the header with the new LSU logo!!!

Before TheToyRoom got back with me, I try my hand at computer graphics again, and this is what I come up with. It is not that I am not artistic, it is just I got crappy software on my computer to do it:
