This Is A Public Service Announcement From Dogs!!!
When I was a kid, we had a cat who actually was trying to kill me! His name was Lucky and he was my nemesis! He'd lurk behind corners and wait for me to walk by so he could reach out and scratch me. He used to hold me hostage in our bathroom. When I would go in and use the toilet, Lucky used to rush in before I could close the door, and sit in the tub. He'd be in pounce position, and if I tried to get off the toilet, he'd be ready to jump. I knew from experience that he'd do it, so I wouldn't move. Most of the time, I could call my mom, but once this happened when my mom was at the store, so I was stuck for 1/2 an hour!
I've had cats since then, but I'm basically a dog person.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
What a disturbing tale of terror, HardyGirl! My dad had a rooster that used to terrorize me like that when I was a kid, but as to cats I've always had an affinity with them and have never had any problems with them. Your story is giving me the creeps, though.
I had a cat when I was a kid that would fetch. My mother smoked Winston Reds and the cat would only fetch the wadded up empty pack of Winston Reds. She would not do any other cigarette pack. This cat would fetch for hours like a dog if you would just continuously throw it.
I learned later that there is a breed of cat that does fetch. Mine was a mute, but must have had some of this in her.
We had another cat that would bring dead mice and birds to the back door. She would sit there and yell until some one came, than she would just eat the head and leave the body on the door step!!!
My cats love when I on the Mego Forum. Since I spend a few hours here. They fight over who gets to sit on my lap and it is first come first serve who gets to sit on the back of my monitor, go an old style colar, where the heat vents are and who lays across the top of the front. That is of course when one isn't playing window shield wipper with there tail on my screen.
