Texas had to pull one out of their butt with 16 seconds left to beat Ohio State. Imagine the Big 12's three big teams (Tx, OK, TT) all go winless in the bowls!!!
I have to Disagree here, Texas ran (actually passed) all over "The" OSU, especially after half time. Texas has been there and done that (won in the last 2 minutes) quite a few time in BCS games. IMO Colt McCOy is a far better QB now than Vince Young will ever be. He stands in there like a pro QB and shook off a mediocre first half to lead that team to a win. Now Texas Tech, while this year much better all around shouldn't have been as highly ranked as they were and their loss was not a surprise. I think OU will wipe the floor with Florida but that's why they play the game . . . . OU wins and we have a split national championship Texas and OU
It's sad to see the last game played . . . . not a fan of Basketball on any level so all I have is Hockey to get me through to spring.
There could also be an argument made that Utah deserves a chance. Undefeated and they beat up on Alabama pretty bad.
Year end and year out it seems like everything points toward a playoff system. Seems like they should take each BCS winner to play against one another to an eventual National Champion.

I agree,Utah deserves share of the title no matter who wins
1. Utah
2. USC
3. Texas
4. winner of Florida/Oklahoma
Just to show my undying love for the BCS.
Honestly, I'm not sure anyone would want a piece of USC in a bowl or championship-type game.
USC is a pac 10 team enough said. Florida would crush them. The Sec is the toughest division year in and year out. Big 12 has shown their colors TT loss, mighty Texas barley survives a crappy big 10 team that should have been blown out. Like I've said for 6 weeks, watch what the Gators do to OK. OK has not seen a D like Floridas.
For right now, there is one NC and that team holds the crystal!!! The AP NC is nothing but a paper NC.
Yes, Utah beat Bama, LSU took them to OT and we lost 5 games. The questions is, could Utah go undefeated playing teams like Bama four or five games a year, like FLA, OK, TX, GA, LSU, etc do each year?
This is USC's biggest problem, if they do not go undefeated, they will not get into the NC game because of their strength of schedule. They play two good teams a year, and it hurts them.
My Tigers played FLA, Bama, GA, Ole Miss, Auburn, & So Carolina this year alone. Lets see Utah or USC have a schedule like that.
I have read that USC is looking to add Home/Away games against a top SEC team (LSU, FLA, GA, BAMA?)
Do you think a playoff system will prove a true "Best Team in Nation" NC? Do you think NY Giants were the best team last year? They lost to the Pats in the regular season, so the Giants were not the "Best Team" in the NFL last year. Every year, some college basketball team makes it to the Final Four, but they are not really the top four team in the nation.
USC maybe able to beat anyone in college football right now, because of their strength of schedule. Do you realize how worn out and beaten down LSU was when we played Arky? I don't think USC has played a big game since Ohio State back in Sept, and guess what game was next week? OR St, the game they lost. They only had a five day rest because this game was a Thurs night game. Big games take it out of you, even tho they did win against OSU, they were beaten down and not rested.
Injuries to the offensive line at Bama is one of the main reasons Bama lost to Utah. You cannot win when your QB is running for his life because two of the three starters on the OL are injured (and the third is suspended for the game).
