The Deadliest Catch is great too (as well as American Hotrod).

Have you seen Dirty Jobs? That's another great one, lol.

These shows are cool because they are interesting, I love seeing people build a complete car restoration for a worthy subject (like a cancer survivor) in a week, or catch crab in the dangerous frozen Arctic Sea, or people working hazardous and thankless jobs that we take for granted...shows that have meaning and a purpose...not these other slimy shows that are seedy and nothing but tabloid worthless garbage...like Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire, or other similar garbage...those make me ill to my stomach.

P.S. Meule...I didn't know you liked classic American cars...a lot of Europeans look down on them.

Dirty Jobs is where I draw the line. Miami Ink is another favorite of mine.

And yeah Hec, I do like classic American cars. If I was rich, I'd have a different one for each day of the week

                  >I like a lot of shows mentioned here, but I never considered them "reality shows"

Yeah, most of the time "reality show" refers to them weird gameshow shows. Stuff like "Dirty Jobs" is more like a doccumentary series. I could never get into the game show ones, stuff like "Survivour," or "Big Brother," or any of the "Who Wants To...." shows. I find the wqhole idea of playing people off against each other distateful; sort of like a soap opera in real life. Distasteful 'cos it's NOT real life, but it's billed as such. (One month of footage edited down to 13 hours isn't real.) And I think it's abhorrant that the selling point is that you get to watch the suffering of real people.

Diners, drive-ins & dives is pretty neat.
Have to admit I'm hooked on Amazing race, Survivor & American Idol but I can't stand shows like Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars & Big Brother.
