I went to see this movie tonight and really enjoyed it. This in not an action packed movie but does pretty accurately stay true to the real story. A few spots were for affect but overall followed the events well. The guy who played Hitler looked just like him. Tom Cruise also looked just like the real Colonel who carried out the plot. Anyone into history will like this movie. Tom Cruise does a good job in this one. In my opinion he tends to overact sometimes but not here.

I'll have to give it a shot I was going to avoid it because I can't stand Cruise's overacting but if he is more subdued It may be worth my timeComment

Last Samurai was a fantastic Movie imo..
I only just seen the previews for this movie the other day,.. I didn't even know it was made,.. or that Cruise's character was an actual person in History.. Interesting.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

I also am not a Fan of Tom Cruise...but can take Him if the story is good. He's also surrounded by some really great Actors in "Valkyrie", such as Kenneth Branagh, Tom Wilkinson, and more!
Another good example of an Actor I HATE is Kevin Costner
, but has a coulpe of good Movies, not by His doing...but were propelled by a good Story..."The Untouchables", and "No Way Out".

Got a worse review in the local paper than The Spirit. They referred to it as being tiresome as a History Channel documentary.You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment
