Now that he's unwrapped it, I can say that I got my husband the new Millenium Falcon, and he was absolutely tickled. I also got him a few smaller things, like GI Joes, a paperback he wanted, and a Godzilla t-shirt that says "I <Godzilla pic> Tokyo".
By the way, if you have a 5 and Below near you, check it out. I found hardcover collections of both the Batman daily and Sunday comic strips from the 40s there and grabbed those as gifts, plus some pop-up books featuring Spiderman and the X-Men.
I got some great movies this year. That was the bulk of my list since many of my relatives don't usually buy us toys. I got Sabrina, Sleeping Beauty, the Roaring Twenties, She-Ra and an Ed Wood box set. I also got volume one of Jack Kirby's Fourth World Omnibus, Kirby:King of Comics, The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman and the latest version of the DC Comics Encyclopedia. My husband also made sure to get me the Barbie Black Canary, which I really wanted, and a new Batman and Robin shirt with the Alex Ross version of them caught in a police searchlight.
Another cool thing you might want to check out that someone got Nate is Bat-Manga. Because of the popularity of the 60s Batman tv show, DC hired someone to write a Batman comic in the manga style for release in Japan. Apparently they forgot all about it until someone started researching it and now an English version has been released. It's a very cool book, and I loved looking at the pictures of Japanese Batman toys.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

    Check out my customs!
