Yes, as a life long Phin fan, going into this season I said if the Tuna and co. can turn it around and go 8-8 this year it would be like a Super Bowl win to me. So every win to me is just like extra presents. The whole league is pretty medicore this year.Originally posted by PCofmisfittoysComment

The Pats will put the franchise tag on him and deal him. It will automatically make his paycheck in the 12-14 million range for next year. Once he's dealt he can restructure with the team that gets him. I can see the Pats getting at least 2 high picks for him. Pats have a chance to be only the second NFL team to go 11-5 and not make the playoffs. Kinda disgusting when you think about the team they spanked yesterday and will get annihilated in the playoffs is already in for two weeks. But the Pats had their chance. If they would have beaten the Jets they would have been in the lead right now going into a game they should win easily. Never thought I'd be rooting for the Jets but I am. The only thing I see is Mangini could be looking at his last game as Jets head coach. I'm sure the team knows that. Basically he played the odds and went after Favre and put the failure on Pennington, and now Pennington is coming back to NY with a chance to go to the playoffs. If Mangini loses he will be added to the long list of coaches that failed once they didn't have Belichick's prescence. They all made good money though and can't really slight them for that if they don't whine about it afterwards. Should be an interesting Sunday either way. GO JETS!!! Can't believe I typed that.

I was glad to be put out of my misery yesterday.
The Redskins beat Philly and swept them (even though they played horribly and gave Philly every chance to win). Atlanta beating Minnesota knocked the Redskins out of the playoff picture.
It is hard to watch a team who can knock off the Cowboys, Saints, Eagles (twice), Cardinals lose to Rams and Bengals. The other losses were against good teams but you gotta win some of those games too if you want to be legit.
I'll never give up on them though and think positive for next year. There are so many problems with them I wouldn't even know where to start. I think they need to cut Jason Campbell loose. I hate to start over but he has been given enough time to develop and continues to flounder. He makes some good plays now and then but they are far and few between. They could keep Campbell I guess as a backup but someone else needs to take over. Not sure if Colt Brennan is the answer or if they need to pluck a great quarterback from free agency.
Well, looks like I will be routing for the Ravens and Steelers since they are the closest teams near me. I will never route for the Eagles or Giants so that's out of the question unless they are playing the Cowboys or Patriots.

That imo was the Game of the Yr ,.. so Far. What a Fantastic Football Game.. From a Bystanders Position,.. that really has no real strong interest in either Team,.. Man was a Like a Little Kid with a New Toy watching that one.. That was a Great FootBall Game.
Arizona Sucks,.. the Only reason these guys even got in,.. it because the Hawks were Riddled with Injuries all Season,.. I expect these guys to go out 1st round if they half to play the Cowboys , Eagles or the Falcons.
It's funny,.. someone should bring up my post from eairlier this yr,.. when I wrote that the Phins would win the Division when Parcel's decided to be the head Honcho over in Maimi. lol ... Some coaches & people in Football,.. just have the Magic to Win.
I really wanted to see Favre do good this season.. Because ,.. well it is Favre. He is a Legend of Football imo, & fun to watch. He did make a few mistakes this season,.. But the Jets just ,.. will be the Jets & suck. Mangini (sp) called a ton of just stupid calls in Yesterday's Football game,.. the Coach really lost that game for the Jet's imo.
If the Jets really want to contend for the Division & or the Play Off's,.. as much as it pains me to say, they Had no Buisness loosing to the Hawks,.. let alone San FranCisco .. For being a PlayOff team, & I use that term Loosely,.. those were games they should have won.
If Favre did anything this yr,.. imo He did break the Maddon Curse,.. However He was in a Different Jersey too,.. that should be interesting for Next yr.. & His season is still alive,.. the outcome may not rule in his favor,.. but the Packer's season ended weeks ago. lol.
Just like the Cowboy's should have never lost to the Rams... But I guess it's true what they say,.. any given Sunday.
BTW... I pick the Chargers to Bounce Back, get into the Play Off's & Knock Denver out next week too. Unless of course ED's the Ref,.. but I doubt Norv will let that Happen . lol...

I just think this will be Miami's only chance for a few years to come.I mean let's be realistic here,if Brady were here Miami would be trying for a wildcard not the division.
So i think they know this and will take advantage of it.I expect to see a bunch of trick plays and Pennington will make the Jets pay.Favre will come back for one more year.All in all,no matter what happens all 3 team,Fins,Jets and Pats deserve mad props for doing what they've done.No one expected any of the 3 to be playing like this
