I have not been/won't be on facebook, and everyone I know is befuddled by it because with very few exceptions, I am always the most technical guy in the room. I just can't do it, and my reasons are thusly:
1) Mark Zuckerberg.
2) I did Facebook 15 years ago when it was all nerds talking about their day on webpages hand-coded in whatever editor their shell account supported (PICO FTW!). The really fancy sites had FRAMES. No one cared back then, and now that the world has caught up, it's out of my system.
3) Based on the folks I know who are on Facebook and the way they use it, there are an awful lot of aspects of Facebook that are even more adolescent girl-ish than our doll collections."If you take a dog which is starving and feed him and make him prosperous, that dog will not bite you. I'm not really into all the games & "send this to that person" stuff though. No offense but I usually just delete most of that stuff. Nothing personal. I do like some of the quizzes and things of that nature (name your top 5, etc)

Ha. Mine too! I found a good majority of my class already on FB, discussing said reunion. I decided to just let everything blend together. The page overall is set up in a way to showcase my website, but I decided no reason to exclude anyone based on how I know them. If I know someone I'll add them no prob. I gave it some thought and figured it really doesn't matter to the people I'm adding how I know the other people on my list. Just that I know them and they know me in some form or fashion.Comment
