You think you got it bad? I lived in Buffalo. We had the Infamous Blizzard of '77. Once it starts looking like this you get to complain.

Oh yeah, I remember that one (of course, everyone in this area does!)

We had tons of snow on Friday, and something close to a blizzard is happening right now. I don't think I'll be going outside today.

I remember the blizzard of 77" vividly. We lived on the third floor and we were jumping off the roof of our house into the snow drifts. Now that I look back it was dumb but when you are 10 it was fun as hell. also a week out of school was cool with me.

It's official, no snow in the UK for christmas.

Ah so you're an escapee from the frozen north as well?
We had one almost as bad in '85 too. I have some personal pics of that one. I'll have to dig them out.
Got sick and tired of that white crap. That's why I moved to AZ. Only time I miss it is Christmas and even then I'd still want it to go away the day after. LOL
