last dec. we got hit with a record breaking ice storm that hit most of oklahoma. we were without power for 9 days or so. luckily wife's folks got theirs back on in a couple of days. so we got to stay there..but we didnt have heat or anything like that in our house...and were one of the last places in town to get it back on. other people went a few weeks to a month or two before they got theirs turned back on, so we were the lucky ones...i guess...it was bad..lost a ton of trees with it..(the whole town and surrounding areas as well)....

Damn when Buffalo got hit with that massive October ice storm a few years ago we were with out power for weeks thats hell . 4 days is like a little camp out in heck.
By the time we finally got a generator. (It took a week or so just to get shipments through, then people were fighting over and stealing them) the power was finally restored.
So now i have this generator I run every few weeks and I will probably never need it again.Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.
In the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever.Comment
