Hot Dang, It Snowed Today, Part 2!!!!

The weather system that TxTeach got yesterday came our way 6 am this morning. It snowed for about 5 hours (2 hours heavy), and we got around 4-5 inches. We get snow like this once every ten years or so.

Of course, I go to work at 4 am, so I couldn't enjoy this day with my daughters.

Funny thing is, about three nights ago, my 5 year old said she wanted to see snow.

They had a blast. One thing about it, it rained for about eight hours before it started snowing. So under all the snow was nothing but slush. Maddy (my oldest) made one snow angel and came up soaking wet. It was actually pretty miserable to play in. You got soaking wet. But if it didn't rain like it did, it would have never accumulated on the ground because it never got below freezing today and was in the mid-30's when it was snowing.
