Well, it's not a Mego...but you guys ought to like this.

This is the fruit of my 2nd job at the theater.
I have watched this baby from its days as clay, casting, prototype to realized suit.
A gentleman in Norway, who my physical build matches perfectly, agreed to make one for me and after six months, it landed yesterday.
I will be fitting parts and doing some test fittings...I'll post more pics soon.

Plus, I have to build electronics for the lights and hoping to do sound effects for servos and hydraulics when I move.

My Vader suit most of you have seen over the last decade is officially retired

Here's a teaser as I quickly setup pieces on a piddly mannequin:

That is beyond amazing!!! I'm literally freaking out with envy!!!

I've always wanted a costume like that. In fact, I've always stayed away from Iron Man suits because they generally do not look like a metal suit. Clearly, this one will top even your Vader outfit (which was perfect). I'm assuming this is a custom job and not something that can be ordered.
            WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

Wow, that looks top notch. You aren't playing around with this at all. Serious outfit. Is it bullet proof??? Whats the material, I assume vacume formed??

I'm not sure if the guy is doing anymore suits. I believe there to only be 4 in the USA so far and I know he's done 2 or 3 for europe. He had lots of problems with materials and stuff, but come with the territory I guess. One of the stipulations to even discuss the suit was to send him my measurements...and I got lucky based on my size and his sculpts. Expensive? You bet...but that's why I took on the 2nd job a few nights a week LOL. I will be paying on it for the next three years
No, sadly it is not bulletproof and does not fly...It is constructed of hand laid fiberglass and vacuum formed abs. From what I saw briefly, the strap system is very durable and tough...nice strong rivots....none of that glue on velcro crap that comes undone on a mid summer day stroll.

Not only is that freaking crazy cool but I'm jealous that you had the will power to save your income from the second job to pull it off. I use the income from my second job to fritter away on useless items.

Wow, that's crazy cool. You can make some spare cash appearing at area comic and toy conventions with that thing. Just tell yourself that's why you bought it, you were being responsible and thinking of ways to generate income.
