                                As a child, I was severely reprimanded for referring to Mr. Martindale as "Stink Fartinstale".

                                That was nothing compared to the time "Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang" was showing on network TV, though. To this day, I have not seen that movie!

                                        Believe it or not but fellow gameshow hosts, Gene Rayburn, and Chuck Woolery, gave Wink Martindale that nickname.
