The AFC East is up and coming,Buffalo like Miami are super young

I think it's already here. Buffalo getting older is only gonna make it tougher. To think there are teams in other divisions with losing records that might make the playoffs. I don't know what will happen when Favre is gone in NY and not totally sure how long Pennington will keep Miami resurrected but they all seem to have enough pieces to make it hard for the Pats when Brady returns next year with the right off season moves. I do believe without the injuries to Thomas and Harrison two of the Pats losses (Jets and Indy) would have been wins. They got virtually no pass rush on Favre or Manning in either of those games. That would have made the Pats own the tie breaker and have a two game lead with three to play and a completely different look in the division with a quarterback that never started a game since high school. He will definately be starting for another team next year. Hopefully the Pats will franchise him and trade his rights so they can get something for him. He should be worth a first rounder and any team interested will probably be in te top 10 picks. The Pats front office definately gets the most out of their draft picks. Should be a very interesting off season as well. Even more so as Miami and NY play each other in the last week and it could have division winner and playoff contention in the balance.

Injuries are part of the game, just look at yesterday. Wilfork, Bruschi, and Sanders. On top of Brady, Maroney, Thomas, Harrison,... What's a team got to endure in one season?? They're still in the hunt, which has to have other teams just shaking their heads in disbelief. No other team in the NFL could remotely survive what the Pats have gone through this season. Buffalo had a really easy early schedule. Oakland, St Louis, Seattle, beat SD but it was in Buffalo. Then they lost to Jets,Fins, and NE 3 in a row. I just don't think their ready for this division yet. If the Pats make the playoffs I will be ecstatic. Never thought they would with what they've gone through. They need to win all three remaining games though. If they lose one I think it's over. Miami plays the Jets in the final week so one of em is getting a loss. The losses in Indy and the Jets are definately making it difficult. Either one of those games and I think they'd be heading to the playoffs. 3 weeks to go.

I gotta disagree there,i think which ever wins,will be atleast in the AFC championship,I see them being the surprise team like NY was last year.Other teams will look past them and that'll be the mistake

For NE next year,it all depends on Brady.How will he recover,if I was NE I'd try an offer Cassel a 1 year extension,and let him know that there's a good chance that Brady might not be the same and that he could be the future starting QB if Brady can't make a comeback.Which would be kind of smart for him,cause if he goes to a crappy team like Detroit,he won't be the same..Let's face it
