God, I hope not. I mean, I LOVE Godzilla, but leave him to the Japanese, Hollywood already screwed up once, please don't do it again

I thought the same thing about ID4 (Independence Day) and it didn't live up to the hype.

"Bad Robot" is JJ Abrahms production company, who apparently is behind this movie and viral marketing campaign. This was supposedly shot prior to primary photography, so it may not represent anything we actually see in the eventual film.

Looks like EthanHaasWasRight.com MAY be related to this teaser trailer (or something else viral). Any history on who Ethan Haas is? Of course JJ Abrahms has denied that anything but the 11808 stuff is his, so we could all be barking up the wrong trees.

That trailer has grabbed my attention. Has anyone figured out what that noise is?

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

              "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn"

In the Southeast Pacific, lies the sunken city of R'Leyh. There lies C'thulhu waits to return to our world with the other Great Old Ones. A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

Something big enough to rip the head off the Statue of Liberty and toss it down Broadway like a bowling ball.

I was thinking the same as I as watching this trailer....I was thinking this may not even show up in the final cut it looks like if anyone of us were video taping at the moment something big was Happening.

The Trailer alone is worth the price of admission. Can't wait!

The trailer reminded me a lot of the original 50's War of the Worlds with Blair Witch thrown in as an update.
