And another three to five inches tonight!! Also suppose to drop down to single digits at night, with day time highs only reaching the teens. I hate winter...

If it snows a dusting on Christmas Eve and we get one good snow for the kids to play in, I'm good. I still love snow, but I want it in 3-5 inch amounts at a time. Any more or any less is just annoying.

Damn, I'm in Canada and we don't have any snow right now (where I live anyway). I'm sure that I'll get hit with snow soon enough, but I can't remember the last time I saw as much as two feet.

Here in the Poconos we usually get quite a bit of snow.
So far (this year) we've been lucky.

Yeah,.. we don't get any Snow here either,.. Except 1 a yr, & it literally lasts for a Day.... Once every 3 to 6 yrs we have a Snow Storm that might last a week,.. but the most it does is mess up the roads with serious Ice.

I do wish I had a little around the Holiday's though..

No snow here in Calgary yet either! We had a brief appearance (about 2 cm) but it melted away pretty quick.
I'm no fan of ice and snow, and the last dozen years or so, we seldom see the stuff anymore, but for Christmas, I would like enough to keep the ground white. Outdoor Christmas decorations just look plain ridiculous without snow.

We usually get a fair amount of snow in this area, but not usually this early. Michigan is subject to a phenomenon known as "lake effect snow". There are snow belts through out the state and the area I live in is on the northern most tip of one of these. We had the better of 14 inches fall last night and several inches this morning, yet five miles north of here there was barely a dusting.

It's funny, if we get 1/2" (and it does snow here every blue moon) the city will completely shut down and the interstates will be close. I always laugh when it happens.
