We are watching "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer", and the first scene, Ms Claus is bugging Santa to eat. He looks nice and fit, thin, on top of his world. She is trying to cause him to get heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, and other that come along with obesity.

Is she secretly planning on taking over the operation?

...Hmmm. That would explain why Hermie looks nothing like the other elves...He has hair, and quite human appearing eyes and ears. Could he be one of Mrs Claus' love children?

That show is full of murder. If you watch the end of the show when they are dropping the toys out of the sleigh. You will see they give each toy a umbrella to act as a parachute. However, the misfit toy bird that can;t fly is just booted out of the sleigh with mo umbrella.

I believe its the elves trying to cover up their shoddy workmanship, and not wanting the bird to goto the press.
