Really I like Root Beer the best ... A&W, Mug ... Barqs isn't bad and love it the best for root beer floats ... But some high end Root Beers are awesome.

I try not to drink too much cola anymore ... but I do have to say out of pepsi and Coke ... I'd take a coke.

On the occasions that I do drink dark colas, I only drink Caffeine Free, and I prefer Coke over Pepsi. If they made a Caffeine Free RC, I would probably buy that over the other two.

It really bugged me that Pepsi was cheaper and always on sale when I lived in Buffalo but I would usually spring the extra for Coke. Not a big pop drinker anyway. Usually drink ice water. If I do buy cola, I'll buy RC Cola nowadays but I wait for a sale.
To be honest I can't stand that they did away with the 8 pack glass bottles. It really does not taste the same in cans & plastic. I ALWAYS bought my pop in 8 pack glass bottles. That could be part of the reason I don't drink it as much anymore. Yeah, I know they have those 'novelty' packs of glass bottles, especially around Christmas but it costs an outrageous amount just to get it like that now. Maybe I should check out the Mexican Coke. I think they sell it here in some of the hispanic-leaning markets.

Diet coke over coke zero but cherry zero over diet cherry.

Mexican coke sprite exctra is better - glass bottles and real suger.

A&W Root Beer from the keg is the best in a frosted glass! Makes the overpriced hot dogs they sell acceptable!

BTW: Coke is one of the worst drinks you can consume (besides Mountain Dew), especially if you drink a lot, as Coke will destroy the enamel off your teeth over time

I think you could say that about almost any kind of soft drink, not just Coke. They are all bad.

I prefer Coke, but I'll drink Pepsi if I have to. I used to be addicted to pop when I was younger, I often went through almost a 2 litre bottle a day (yikes!) but I've weaned myself down to one can a day. I'd like to stop entirely, but it's so gooood.

In the Latino themed markets, a bottle of Mexican Coke goes for about a dollar...great deal for a better-tasting Coke.
