Some day, believe me, this will get an official release.
There is, after all, money to be earned.

Maybe they can stage a special convention, The Convention Special or something, with Lumpy signing autographs....

And remember, I cherish my copy of the Holiday Special for the true work of art it is.

People may badmouth it from here til eternity

            but...

It's a HUGE part of STAR WARS history.

The original cast of NEW HOPE, in character, in a T.V. show?

            Not much else comes close.

(Maybe STAR WARS on THE MUPPET SHOW...)

              Exactly!

It's part of official SW history, and history should not be denied, ignored or deleted, simply because it wasn't the "finest hour".
All official crew and cast members participated, this was no bootleg.

We shouldn't try to erase these parts.
Next thing you know, Jar Jar Binks is gone, Star Trek V disappears, and several American presidents vanish.
History is history, warts and all.....

Hail to the SW Holiday Special!

Some memory I've tried to bury.....tub-g......no it's too painful.

I spent far too long at that website, I'd make a comment about obsessing about a subject but people in glass houses and all.
