They showed all the TV movies edited from the TV show but not the stand alone episodes.

Why bother pressing "play" again when the DVD is over? You can just set the player to "repeat" and it will play the movie continually...

The five "TV series films" showed 10 of the original 14 episodes, so only 4 weren't shown...

Episodes not included are/were: "The Good Seeds", "The Deception", "The Cure", and "The Liberator"... (But they are all available on the TV series DVD set, which is pretty cheap so you might as well pick it up.)

The Marty Abrams footage is somewhere on the Blu-ray POTA box set isn't it? I just picked that up, so I was hoping to find it there somewhere. As a Canadian, I was denied "Channel of the Apes", but at least I should be able to see a lot of the stuff on the BD box set (except for the TV series compilation films)

I haven't figured out how to do that when I watch the tv show episodes. After the episode, I have to go to the main menu and go down to the next story...

Are you talking about the store bought set with the TV shows?

Perhaps your DVD player has a "Program" function. You can program the player to play either Titles or chapters. Each episode has a title number (usually it's just 1,2,3,4 for a 4 episode DVD).

On many DVD players you can engage "program" and select "titles" and then it gives you a list to fill in. If you have checked on the title numbers of the episodes ( lets assume they are just 1,2,3 and 4) they you can list 1,2,3,4 and enter. It should play all 4 episodes consecutively.

But that's only if your player has a program function and the authoring of the disc allows for the programing.

Hmmm...I will have to look at the remote more closely. It's one of those cheapie DVD players that were about $35. (I am usually banished to watch the tv upstairs if I am craving watching my apes)...the guys of the house get to watch the flatscreen downstairs. (Hey! That's no way to treat the ape queen! I must have a family meeting!!)
