oklahoma sure earned there way up the rankings this week

as an osu fan - i thought we were overranked in the beginning. i think after seeing them play that 10th is about right. i'll be happy with the season WHEN they win a post season game.

Mark my words, this is what is going to happen:

Mizzou beats OU in Big 12 CG

FLA beats Bama in SEC CG

Ore St wins PAC-10, but USC goes to NC game against FLA, but lose by 40 points!!!

If it makes you feel any better,Bama should be in the mix for the next 3 years.

Them along with the Canes seem to be playing the most underclassmen

you'll see Miami & Alabama in the NC game with in 2 years

Texas #2? I guess they did beat OU!

It doesn't matter, a FLA win over #1 Bama will put them in the #2 spot.

Yeah, as a Sooner fan, I don't agree with that, but it can still happen. Texas plays a nobody this week and OU has to play a quality opponent on the road. It's no easy task to beat OkState at home, even when they are crappy, and this year, they are good.

To be fair, I don't think either Texas or Oklahoma should be ranked ahead of Florida, but that is really of no consequence since they will play Alabama. That will take care of itself. However, BCS rankings make all the difference in the world for the Big 12, right now. With a three-way tie in the Big 12 South, the decider for who goes to the Big 12 Championship game is "who is ranked higher in the BCS".
