I have taken a nice chunk out of my shopping this year but not close to done. I agree with Hector I love shopping at Christmas time. It;s fun I made a light up Santa hat I always get comments on. It's a blast!

Start? I'm two Amazon.com packages away from being finished (scheduled to arrive tomorrow!).

I generally shop sales for the kids all through the year, and really start keeping an eye out (especially for my wife's stuff) once September rolls around.

For the guys who haven't figured out or gotten their wives something,there's a COACH outlet store here,and you can get some great deals.If you need me to pick you guys up anything let me know.I just checked on ebay and they are going for a lot more then in the store and you can't go wrong with a good purse

Done with the kids, almost done with the wife. Lots of other family and friends bought for. Really just wrapping up some online shopping now. We always do it early so we can enjoy the holidays and not have to get out in the rat-race much.

Well, I've never really STOPPED buying for myself, since my deployment last year, but I did score a sewn-numbers Packers Donald Driver jersey for my Mrs last week (we have no kids..). I coyly asked her about getting one of those last night, just to gauge her interest. She replied that they're usually about $120-$150 and was too expensive.

Luckily I scored one locally off eBay for about $70. Now to keep her from not buying a cheaper version until the 25th.. THAT'S the real trick.

I did just score a minty Mego Neptunian for $70 off eBay (no faded webbing), so I guess that'll be my gift this year..

Now to find something for the girlfriend.. (just kidding)

Most of the out-of-town friends and relatives are done so I can package it all up over the weekend. Now it's just in-town relatives and friends. Kids are 90% done but still have the wife.
