The first time I saw that, the wood it's made from had that freshly cut smell and I barely managed to get away.

Um... perhaps I've said too much.

Now the one pictured has silver bullets so it would be made after they started using metal casings(or cartridges) otherwise you would see older ones with silver balls or shot.

        You've obviously studied this.

That's a very cool item and brings to mind a thought. Just Thursday night I watched "The history of Witchcraft" on one of the History Channels. There were a LOT of people falsely accussed and died in rather gruesome ways. Do you think someone got staked just because they took a late night walk or something? JOHN

This brings up a sad story. I had an uncle that many accused of being a vampire. So, a bunch of the family got together and confronted him about it. He denied it, but when we hammered a stake through his heart... he died!

What more proof did we need? I'm more upset that he lied to us, US, his own family! Never trust a vampire, that's what I say! And that's a helpful tip from your Uncle Tim.
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

I would love it if they did a test on it to see if there are any blood remnants on any of the stakes. That would obviously mean it had been used. That would have to increase the value of it, if it could be proven it was used.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I would guess it was probably used. It isn't like people had lots of crap lying around that they didn't use back then. Not like now.
