Anyone know anything about antique theatre collectibles ?

I got this "bag" from my brother in law about 20 years ago ... It was his moms ... she was very old so I know she actually got it herself new.

The inside bottom reads --- Criterion Theatre, Rutherford N.J. Vick, Collins & Lawrence Proprietors -- PHONE 800 -- Souvenir Night January 23 1915

The bag itself is about 5" high.
    The bottom is a mirror.

Anyone know what exactly this is ?
Do you think it's collectible ?
And if I list it on ebay, what catagory should I put it in ?

    Any hep is appreciated

    Thanks

I see vintage purses go for decent money at auction. I think that is a ladies' evening bag or purse. Women in those days had no use for the gigantic mega-purses that my wife drags around today full of junk. The Victorian lady would have carried a small comb, some perfume, powder, maybe a pair of opera glasses in it. Remember that in 1915, only people of some wealth or station attended the theatre to see a play or opera. It wasn't until the 1930s and the advent of films that it became popular for the average person.

I would list it under both vintage ladies accessories or purses as well as under theatre memorabilia. Make sure to put the date in the auction title i.e. VINTAGE 1915 CRITERION THEATRE NJ SOUVENIR LADIES EVENING BAG/PURSE

A little hint, if the inside card is not attached to the bottom, look under it, you may find coins, money, etc.

This is always a good hint when you find things like these (books, purses, suitcases, etc).

Thanks for the tip BUT the outside mirror and the inside card is one single peice...
The cloth sides are stitched around it.
So there's no place for anything good to be hiding.
