I would have to vote SCTV, some of it has improved with age.

I like SCTV better because they are more zany then SNL.

A great example is the blow up sketch above .....

In a way, they're kind of a sophisticated Monty Python.

SNL is just regular standard sketch comedy you'd see on Sonny and Cher but a little racier.

When SNL/SCTV makes me laugh---I say "all right"

When they bore me, I run screaming.

Both shows have a range of sketches, bits or whatever that could
be great or could be horrid..and both have killer casts regardless of
the quality of material

I'd say it was a draw---

I have a soft spot for SCTV's McKenzie Bros...but due to Bill Murray's
presence on SNL, I still say "draw"
