    Blondie's "Call Me" - who-ish

I think someone else mentioned this before, but scanning the radio today I came upon the song "Call Me" and the bridge to that song really does sound like the newer version of the Dr. Who theme. It's the background beat that I think does it.
    It's all good!

Being that the song "Call Me" came first, the new "Dr. Who" theme would sound like it, it wouldn't sound like "Dr. Who"...

Sorry I should have been more specific. I didn't necessarily mean just the current version when I said "newer." I should have said later versions like Peter Davison onward.

either way, just something I noticed. Nothing earth-shattering
      It's all good!

I'm not sure about that but I've heard they got along quite well with the Doors!

As all the varients on the who theme are from the same source material ....Ron Grainers theme back in 1963....first realised by Delia derbyshire in the radiophonic workshop.....it's proberly a good bet that this was prior to Blondie's 'Call me'.
