So who's feeling the squeeze from the Market meltdown?

Been Layed off for Almost a yr...
Making some extra cash selling a few custom figures here & there helps ..... pay's the Bills.
I had some cash saved,.. not so much anymore.
I am hoping for a good construction season next yr,.. otherwise I Might Be Screwed....
But thats Next yr. No worries ,.. yet today.


On a side Note,.. I have noticed a change in Toys On Ebay... it seems alot of DC Direct Figures & Marvel Legends are just going for like 5 bucks a Piece. I scored like 10 dc Direct figures for 5 dollars a piece... Most Comic Shops & Stores on Ebay only sell alot of the Ones I scored in sets, or the average price is 12 to 17 bucks.

Now if only those DC Universe Aquamen would go for 5 bucks.

yup,that's why...say what you want about ebay but everytime I've been in a jam it's always the place that saves my butt with a quick sale

I left a regular well paying job in the oil industry to start working for myself full time back in October.....right when the crunch went from being a maybe to a reality. Luckily it hasnt really affected me yet, and the work still seems to be there, but I keep hearing from others (and myself) that this probably isnt the best time to be trying to do something like this. I console myself by watching the steady drop in the price of oil, and knowing that industry cant keep on going like it was anyways!!

Currently, the only real pain I'm feeling from all this is from the constantly changing value of the Canadian dollar. One has to carefully time their purchases from the States right now.

You might want to check out Down town Miami for that,they over built Condos by Brickell which is a super expensive part of Miami and the condos are going super cheap,I'm talking about $600K condos for like $150K or less!!

Looking closer to Orlando, but I believe it. Know someone with a house near tampa that he just pulled off the market cuz prices dropped so low it was better for him to rent/lease it then sell it. Couldn't believe some of the properties I saw and the prices they were at. Made me feel better about how much my house has dropped in value.
