Another movie I'll be skipping

he Wayans brothers' Munsters reboot movie is closer than ever to happening, Shawn Wayans told MTV News, with the team behind Scary Movie and Little Man finalizing work on their third draft of the script.


1- It's a tvshow remake and 2) It's a Wayans Brothers movie

I agree....this will likely go down like the Honeymooners. The Munsters was a dopey show to begin with. It only worked because of the charisma and chemistry of Fred Gwynn and Al Lewis. That is why the show is a classic now.

Normally I'm the "let's give it a chance" type but I'm worried that the Munsters will just be poo-poo and pot jokes.

I also agree that Gwynne and Lewis ruled the series.

Uggghhhhh. Pass. The only way it would work is they could cast the two leads as well as Fred and Al. Ron Perlman comes to mind for Herman.

I just can't see this working. Fred and Al made that show work with classic comedic timing. Gwyne was larger than life in that role. Everytime they tried to do a new version it didn't work........

Unlike The Addams Family. That worked because it was based on the original Addams family art... mixed with some of the tv show.

I'd go see a solo movie about Marilyn....
but Beyonce has to play her.

...and there has to be lots of scenes in slow motion.

and 3 , they tend to make racial based movies and that alone will make me skip it. ..similar to spike Lee Movies etc.

True.....I'm tired of this type Genre of movies. Comedy should appeal to everyone. I'm tired of the ghetto jokes. I lived in bed-stuy Brooklyn in the projects. I grew up I don't need to hear jokes that are targeted to 12 year olds.....Spike Lee is an ***** and a big cry baby

^^^ I refuse to watch movies like that... I just don't find the Parody Movies funny,.. I just don't .. I've tryed to watch them,.. just don't like them.

I'll admit it, I love that character.

I have nothing against the Wayans but on paper, they don't mix with the Munsters.
