          No seriously - I am a veteran and I'd like to thank the rest of ya - especially those who where stationed in difficult areas, saw combat or loss personally.
          It's funny to realize that this time in Kuwait last year, it was just dipping under 100 degrees. I actually had to put my dress uniform on yesterday and do a presentation for a elementary school assembly.

          And yes, 'kids DO ask the darnest questions'...

          Too many to share here, but they all were fun. It was funny to tell them I've been serving since the Reagan Administration.., and that most of their parents were their age when I enlisted. It's been a life, all right..
