    Christmas for your pets?

As the holiday season draws even closer, the wife and I were going through the lights and outside decorations last night.(wishing I would have wrapped the light stands back up better!)And she asks what should we get the cats this year? We've got 2 cats and they always get something under the tree,a couple guys at work bust on me about it.But I think somehow the cats know what presents are theirs and enjoy it.I guess it could be the smell of catnip coming from the box.Does anyone else give the animals in their lives christmas presents? If not lets just disregard this thread and pretend nothing was ever said about it.

You are not alone. One of our dogs, Mr Bu, loves to open presents, so we always wrap something for him. It's quite amusing... he gets really excited then carefully tears off all the paper.
We even have little dog paw shaped stocking for the dogs.

My Golden Retriever is part of our family and has her own stocking.

She usually receives a big old rawhide bone (the type that is so big she bumps into doorways trying to carry it through and will last 4 or 5 months) and usually some jerky treats or other type of tasty bag of treats that we normally don't purchase.

We even go as far as to wrap the bone and watch her tear her gift open. My kids get a big kick out of it.

My Family does the Same. Our two Big Dogs get the Turkey Legs for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our little Dogs usually get Sweaters and Snacks

When I was married and my ex and I had cats, we had stockings for them w/ their names on them (Frisky & Amadeus). We got them new collars, cat nip mice, and Pounce treats.

I have a classroom guinea pig now, so I don't do that stuff anymore.
