Man I had a bunch of stupid *** teenagers with just a bag pack and costumes,I hated those But I had a lot of guest and could'nt risk one of them damaging a car in revenge
If my daughter ever wore some of the costumes I saw girls her age in tonite I would lock her in her room until she was 30. Do their parents not look at them before they leave the house? ****ty vampire, ****ty pirate, ****ty police woman, ****ty fire woman. ****ty fit so many of them it was ridiculous. These girls were all like 13 to 15 years old. Even the one dressed like Dorothy from Oz looked like she was out of an R Kelly video. Sometimes I wonder what some of today's parents are thinking allowing their kids to dress like that.
^ Sounds like the same kids that showed up at our house! This is the first year I've ever encountered THAT type of trick-or-treater....must be a new trend we're seeing. I guess the "fairy princess" or "ballerina" costumes from days gone by are just that....gone.
Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!
the parents don't pay any attention. We always get the teenagers around 9pm looking for handouts. At least they have put a curfew in place in these parts starting at 9 to eliminate this issue.(among others)
I noticed in College that at halloween parties lots of girls take the opportunity to dress as a "****ty - something". Didn't mean they were, but sure liked the take the persona for a night. That certainly was fine with me.
But 13-15 YOs?? That doesn't seem right at all. Usually the weather is cold here and they would freeze wearing anything light weight.
"Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."
We had a few Batman begins costumed kids and actually the majority of the kids we saw here in PR looked like they were right out of a 70's costume catalog. Lots of princess's and Cars (both Disney), Batman, cowboys, Kitty cat's, turtles (not TMNT) and that sort of thing.
Luckily I bought enough candy that we still have some left over..yummy LOL
Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"
Capt. Kirk: "No, Mr. Spock, I didn't think you would be"
We went out to dinner last night, and the waitresses were dressed as ****ty {fill in the blanks}. Other than that, the good thing about living out in the middle of nowhere? No trick or treaters, which translates into big bag of halloween candy for ME!
It's like trick or treating, without leaving my house. It's awesome!
Welcome to the new Myspace/YouTube I have my own phone camera age Ladies and Gentlemen. This is what happens when Music Channels glorify Hoochie momma videos and when adult stars act like ****s.
When a no talent like Paris Hilton becomes famous for being a spoiled rich ***** and giving *******s on the internet and being a **** is considered cool. When a high school musical star takes a nude pic and it leaks on to the internet and it gets brushed off.
Little girls pay attention to that and some not all decide I can be that way. Porn stars were looked down once upon a time. Now because of the internet they have their own sites are on Myspace and youtube type sites......
Noone really should be surprised it's happening and unless Parents step in we're going to see this even more as the years go on.
Saw it here too. My wife pointed out a cute Candy-corn witch costume. It was cute, but unfortunately it was on a lanky 12-year old girl and not an adult. The skirt was little wider than a belt and if she had cleavage, it would have been showing.
I saw a 15-year old in a ****ty prisoner outfit (black horizontal stripes). The name of that costume HAD to be jailbait. Lots of other girls in in short, tight, ill-fitting costumes.
And then there were those teenagers and even "tweens" that didn't dress in costume at all but we still saw them begging for candy. Around here the age cut-off is 12, but it's not enforced, and every year more teen bums hit the streets for handouts. Their is a siren that sounds at 6 to officially start things, and one that sounds at 8 to end it. People still actually seem to follow that pretty well.
Thank goodness that didn't happen in my neighborhood! In our old one, most probably...but most of the kids that knocked on the door were not older than 12. (I was dressed skanky)!!
