Not to devalue the 2008 team that just conqured big time

---the 2008 team may have won it this year but in my eyes I'm still picturing

I'm sorry, but teams like the BoSox,Yanks,Cubs,Mets, and Phils usually buy their way to the post season.

Teams like the Marlins,Rays and teams like that actually have to play their way there

I know I'm going to get killed here now but you guys know it's true

DUDE the phillies weren't in the post season for 14 years till last year were abysmal for most of the last 23 years. I have lived here for 30 years and didn't even appriciate the 80 team as I still had my alliegence to pittsburgh where I was born.

You are right about those other guys

D you're 97 Marlins was a Bought team and they went on a fire sale the following year....your 2003 team was also dismantled.

                            Congrats to the Phils!!

Also just because you buy talent doesn't mean you win ask the Angels and Cubs who had the better records and were knocked out in the first round.

Yawn. I didn't go to any games this year, and I don't think I watched one complete game on TV. Baseball just doesn't have much appeal to me anymore. Congrats to those of you who give a crap.
