    "Conspiracy Theory" People... US Presidents

This is not intended to be a political thread or a boost nor slam against McCain and/or Obama. This is for fun and please keep it that way.

For all you "Conspiracy Theory" people, I have noticed something.

There has been 16 (37&#37 presidents who last name end with a "N" and 10 (23%) presidents who first names that start with a "J".

What you think, John McCain, coincident?

Anyone else come up with some off the wall theory ?

Does anyone find it a bit odd that every president was born in the US and is over 35?

Is this a conspiracy against foreigners and young people?

My first theory turned out to be wrong. The thread is still here.

There is actually (or use to be) a full semester college history class at Southeastern Louisiana University just on the assassination of JFK. I think the professor was an assistant to Jimm Garrison, from New Orleans.

yea , not to be rude but "J" as John is a very common name which was many of the pres.s names, same with James. And ,sorry, but the letter "N"? Serioulsy? theres BILLIONS of poeple with their last names begining in "N".

Most, if not all US presidents are of either of English or Irish decent.

                      Hmmm,

Makes one wonder if England has been running this place for the last 200+ years, but nobody ever suspected --- UNTIL NOW

Today, I read an article from this week's Newsweek dealing with how our brains are wired with a predisposition toward believing in the paranormal. They referenced a study that showed during "trouble times" people tend to look for patterns where there are no patterns.

A study reported a few weeks ago in the journal Science found that people asked to recall a time when they felt a loss of control saw more patterns in random noise, perceived more conspiracies in stories they read and imagined illusory correlations in financial markets than people who were not reminded that events are sometimes beyond their control. "In the absence of perceived control, people become susceptible to detecting patterns in an effort to regain some sense of organization," says psychology researcher Bruce Hood of the University of Bristol, whose upcoming book "Supersense: Why We Believe in the Unbelievable" explores the mental processes behind belief in the paranormal.

I think we must be living in those kind of times.

I think I remember reading that most President's of the U.S. have typically been taller than the average U.S. male. Not sure if this is true or not.
