Probably for me I'd start seriously collecting vintage Halloween costumes, and Fisher Price Little People & Adventure People. I already have some pieces but I've pretty much stopped that due to lack of space and money, so I'd love to seriously pick up more of those again someday.

If space and money were no problem:

        Movie Props/Costumes
        Pinball and Arcade machines
With no power comes no responsibility. Clerks 2

Space is beginning to play a big role in what I purchase. I imagine if I had more room I would buy more of the vintage playsets. When I buy them right now (like I did when I found the Hall of Justice for $20.00) I ultimately have to take something else down or do a massive rearrange which can become a big ordeal.

Most likely I'd be collecting interest on a big, fat savings account. Sadly, I'm not sure I could even buy all the vowels on Wheel of Fortune right now with what's left of my 401(k).

In all actuality, I'd probably give a whirl at putting together a mint, complete set of Fisher Price Adventure People. Even though Star Wars was my favorite 3-3/4" toy back in the day, I have fonder memories of the Adventure People. I guess that's because I had to use my imagination a whole lot more and didn't spend time re-enacting scenes from the movies.

Seriously, I think the Adventure People were one of the most underrated toy lines of the 70s. With construction workers, police officers, bikers and whatnot, you could completely recreate the Village People with very little effort. And, what kid didn't want to do that?

Adventure People ruled. They had cars that could handle a beating. Boats that actually floated. Working parachutes. Everything about them said, "Play with me outside!" Plus, with an abundance of both male and female characters, it appealed to a huge demographic. I'm really surprised more people aren't hip to this line.

Another toy line I'd collect would be rubber monsters. I had a ton of them back in the day. Mummies, spiders, dragons, King Kong. I loved them all. If it was on the Son of Svenghoulie show (for you Chicago natives out there)or in a Godzilla movie, I was all over it.

I'd probably also think about collecting Ultraman and Spectreman items. I loved those shows. I remember racing home after school just to catch the beginning of the episodes.
