There are odder collection.
I saw a report on TV of a woman who had collected her kids nail clippings and kept the placentas. After several years, she made a child's dress out of them (held together with string), and framed it to hang on her wall. What a souvenir!
The worst collection I have seen?
About fifteen years ago, I browsed through an old antique store here in Antwerp, Belgium. On a mantle piece, I noticed a group of tall jars. Upon closer inspection, inside were mens genitalia. Really! A sick feeling came upon me, since the store had a bunch of antique big game hunter memorabilia, and all "items" were from black men. Was this some deranged hunter's trophy collection?
Or Doctor Frankenstein specimen jars?
You'd have to be a real dick to collect these.....
