Strange Quirks About Yourself!!!!

I am a bit quirky about keeping my house and car locked all the time.

I grew up in a rural area and although our house was never robbed we would occassionally have a stranger show up unannounced and my mom did not feel comfortable answering the door when my father wasn't around.

She used to practically bolt and chain the door as soon as I stepped foot outside the home and I guess I picked up the habit. I just make it a habit of locking my car even if I am standing right beside it or locking my front door even if it is midday and I am home.

My wife thinks it's strange but it was just a habit I got into as a kid and it isn't anything that enters my conscious brain.

I prefer to drink my beer...any brand, whatever, at room temperature.

Depending on where I am I might order up to 5 beers at a time
so that some have time to "warm off"---and, also then waiters/bartenders
don't have to make too many multiple beer runs.

My dad was the same way.

Not me though ...I like my beer to be nearly frozen...lol.

However oddly enough...I don't like ice water...I prefer my water at room temperature.

Odd isn't it.

I don't like the taste of water, so I drink the whole glass nonstop without a breather until I finish it.

and I do have OCD ... hand washer ... not as bad as I used to be ... but when it comes to finger foods ... I wash about 3 times before I will touch my food with my hands.

I love mayo on french fries. I also like it on salad and I put it on burgers and hot dogs.

I stick my tongue out when I'm concentrating on something and I wiggle my toes when I'm just sitting and watching TV.

I have almost two feet of hair and I rarely brush it through. Maybe once every couple of months I might brush it thoroughly. Maybe. I keep it combed but I only comb through the scalp part of my hair so I can tie it in a pony tail. I rarely wear my hair down.

I have a friend with hair that's about 5 feet long. I rarely see her with it completely down, which is sad since it's looks so pretty that way. It's either rolled into a ball/bun or braided into a whip.

I'm a lot better at this now, but I still squirm and jump when I get my hair cut. Something about hearing those scissors so close to my ears. I just get this "tickle" down my back. I usually tip the barber a lot.
