Has this supposed album become the biggest joke ever in the music world? It'll be a big fat flop and Axl will have another breakdown/tantrum and dissappear again.

I have heard many of the songs proposed for inclusion on this album, and I enjoy them.....however, the songs come off a bit dated, like it would've made a really decent impact back in say 1998 or so. I'm really curious to see how the general public reacts to this material now.
Plus, let's face it, there's so much negative vibe and opinion towards this cd, people are going to expect to hate it, and it's going to affect alot of people's initial listening experience. It's gonna sell well initially, but will it become a highly regarded classic like their previous studio albums? I wonder.

Business-wise, the smartest thing this band could do would be to regroup the old guys again, it'd be a massive success. However I know fully well that there's so much other stuff involved that would make it nearly impossible to reconcile and make it work.

^^ I heard that ,.. that was the Whole Problem ,.. was the "Dated" Issue. Everytime Axel tried to get some songs together,.. it was always "Dated" . So he kept Trying to Re-invent the Wheel ,.. so to speak to try & come up with something current with today's Music. I guess he finally decided to give up on that Quest.

I also had heard rumors of Slash & Duff & Axel Maybe Perhaps trying to work things out,.. as soon as Scott went back to STP... Inwhich to me Sucks,.. Because I saw Velvet Revolver in Concert,.. & Man were they Awesome.

I agree. I've seen Satriani once, and Hagar like 4 or 5 times. I am a huge Sammy fan. Can't wait to hear this when it is released.
