I have a personal fondness for the Odd Couple theme as well.

I hate when people die so close to their birthday.

Both Batman and the Odd Couple were arrangements great.

Yes, I always thought it would be good to go out on the day you came in.

Oh wow, how sad. I have all the 60s Batman series music, and I love the Odd Couple Theme. RIP Neal. You will be missed.

Always "liked" the Batman theme but I can honestly say
the ODD COUPLE theme is perfection---(right up there
with Sanford & Son, What's Happening etc.)

            RIP

Actually, my dad died within days of his birthday. After watching many of my older family members die over the past few years, you would be surprised at how many die very close to their birthday or near a holiday that is important to them.

For providing a good chunk of the soundtrack to my life, I thank him. May he rest in peace.

I now have The Odd Couple theme stuck in my head and that's a good thing.

                    RIP Neil Hefti

Can't believe I just spelt his name wrong.

                      RIP Neal Hefti.

My dad died a couple of days after his 49th birthday and the day before my
                      18th birthday.

My dad and both his parents all died in the month of September. Kind of strange.
