LSU deserved it, the way they played last night on a nationally covered game on CBS.

Of course USC is back ear the top. Watch, next week, they will be top 3.

Penn State blows, They play in a super weak division and have not even played a top 20 team yet, the only ranked team they will play is OSU. PSU is over rated bigtime.

I agree. However, OSU stinks too--so they are still going to get the crap kicked out of them. Penn State will then go on to a BCS bowl and get killed by a one or two loss team--much like OSU the last few years.

The fact that USC is #4 is an absolute joke.

Texas Tech still has to face Mizzou, OK, OK St, and Texas, so they will be knocked out.

Big 12, the same as SEC, great teams knocking each other out of national contention.

I just looked at the new Coaches Poll you posted and the SEC and Big 12 account for 10 of the top 15 teams.

In the case of the Big 12, there are some rough games remaining for all of the teams that are Top 15 for now. Oklahoma State hasn't won in Lubbock or Austin since...well, maybe ever. Oklahoma has to play OkState in Stillwater and that is always a tough place for them to play and it's not a given win anymore. Texas Tech has to play in Norman and I don't think they have ever won there. Kansas has to play OU and Texas this year and they still have Missouri to face. Missouri has Texas in Austin next week.

I guess what I'm getting at, is this....probably not going to be anyone in the Big 12 that goes undefeated in the conference this year (just like 2006 and 2007). Texas might, but in the next three weeks they face #11 Missouri, #8 OkState, and #7 Texas Tech.
